How can you offer this service for Free (and why would you do this)?
Very simply, each time a link to our website is placed in cyberspace (yours and other websites), this is an incoming link to us and all our services, creating tremendous amounts of traffic, boosting search engine ratings, etc. Our main source of revenue comes from advertising, website and domain sales and creating 'Good Will' with other Webmasters. What types of websites are allowed to use the counter?
Our service is available for personal, non-profit and commercial websites. Our counter service is explicitly not available to spammers, email marketers, adult websites or any website we find objectionable due to content or extremely high traffic volumes. See our Terms of Service #'s 4 and 5 for additional details.

May I have an invisible counter on my pages?
Yes we provide invisible counters. Within your members area there is an option to have a 'stealth' counter installed.

How does the your counter work?
A small piece of javascript code must be installed in all web pages to be tracked. Each time a person browsing the web requests a tracked web page the counter code will communicate with our servers logging hits and unique visits. Plus you can obtain additional information listed in "Additional Features"

Can I make my counter invisible?
Free counters may not be invisible. Your counter will display a small "Powered by StatsData.com" underneath. (We do not include any additional advertisements with your Free counter as most free services do.) Paid members (Stealth mode) will have the option of displaying a counter or not. The "Powered by StatsData.com" will not be visible on paid members web pages. You can view the counter stats from within your member area.

May I change the color of the counter displayed on my page?
Yes, counters are delivered in the default font, which means that they will accept the styles of your web page. Additionally, you can choose between a number of graphics we have available. If you have your own gif or jpg graphic you would like displayed, please contact us and we can add it to your unique code.

Are there any advertising and link backs with the counter?
No to the paid advertising on your site. Free counter members will have a link back to our site under their counter. We offer very affordable upgrade features to have the link removed.
